Crockpot French Onion Chicken

Here is a super easy, delicious meal for a busy week night! All you need is:

-2 cans of French Onion Soup

-4 chicken breast

These are optional as sides:

-Green beans or broccoli

-White rice

-Sour cream

To cook the chicken:

  1. Put the chicken in the crock pot. They can be thawed or frozen.
  2. Add the two cans of french onion soup to the crock pot.
  3. Cook on high for 7-8 hours.

For the veggies:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Wash and cut veggies.
  3. Put veggies on sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.

I make some write rice and place the chicken breast on the bed of white rice. Then I ladle some of the french onion on top of the chicken and rice. I also like to add some sour cream on top. It’s sooo good.

You can also meal prep this as a freezer meal. Just take a gallon ziplock, drop in the chicken/ french onion soup and throw it in the freezer. If you need an easy meal to make just pull it out of the freezer and drop it in the crock pot. Make sure to write the date you prepped it on the bag. The freezer meals usually stay good for 3 months. Also as a little tip, you can store more frozen freezer meal bags if you lay them flat instead of standing them up.
