I have decided to share all of the poetry and quotes that Melville E. Wilson collected in his composition book while he was at school.  They are all very beautiful and thought provoking.

No.1

Full many a gem purest ray serene.

The dark unfathomed cave of ocean bear:

Full many a flower is born to blush unseen.

And waste its sweetness on the desert air.

From what I read, this quote is talking about unsung hero’s, who do amazing things and never get recognized for their actions.  And yet not getting recognition doesn’t make what they have done worth any less.
